Akrapovic Performance Exhaust — S-ME/T/13H
The Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium) is a precision-engineered exhaust system that brings out the true character and performance of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 W465. Crafted entirely from lightweight titanium, this system is designed to enhance every aspect of the driving experience—from sound and performance to weight savings and aesthetics. More than just an exhaust, it’s the finishing touch the G 63 deserves and how it should have come from the factory.
Sound
The Evolution Line transforms the G 63’s iconic V8 engine, delivering a rich, deep tone that perfectly complements its commanding presence. At cruising speeds, the system provides a smooth, refined sound, while acceleration unleashes a bold, sporty growl that enhances the driving experience. Featuring twin valves positioned behind the rear mufflers, the system ensures precise control of exhaust flow while eliminating intrusive droning, creating an exhilarating yet comfortable sound profile that captures the essence of the G 63.
Performance
Power and torque levels are increased throughout the entire rev range, delivering noticeable improvements in responsiveness and acceleration. Akrapovič’s freer-flowing design reduces back pressure and optimises exhaust gas flow, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. Dyno testing confirms a power gain of 21.4 horsepower and 18.7 ft-lb of torque at 5,950 rpm, translating to sharper throttle response and enhanced performance. The system also achieves a weight reduction of 9.4 kg—41.4% lighter than the stock exhaust—improving agility and handling, all without requiring ECU remapping.
Design
The G 63 is a stunning vehicle that deserves an exhaust to match. The Evolution Line is designed with durability and aesthetics to complement the rugged nature of the SUV. Crafted entirely from lightweight titanium, the system features precision-engineered components, including dual-exit tailpipes, built for strength and longevity. The exhaust is perfectly routed to fit within the G 63’s limited underbody space, and its surface is coated for increased resistance to the elements. Combining cutting-edge engineering with a premium aesthetic, this system is a seamless addition to the G 63’s bold design.
Modern emissions and noise regulations often restrict the sound and performance of today’s vehicles. Akrapovič’s Evolution Line (Titanium) addresses this, restoring the deep, commanding tone and dynamic responsiveness that define the Mercedes-AMG G 63 as a true performance SUV. Designed and built for seamless integration, this is a hardware upgrade with no compromises.
Compliance, Compatibility, and Warranty
The Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium) is fully ECE type-approved, meeting all noise and emissions regulations for road use. No ECU remapping is required ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle’s existing systems.

PLEASE BE AWARE: Sports cats can NOT legally be installed on a vehicle for use on a public road that was manufactured after 1st March 2001 unless type ECE 103R approved - this can be identified in either the product description and/or in the Technical Information section listed. If you have any doubt on this approval, please contact us immediately for confirmation. Therefore, any such products are strictly sold as off-road or motorsport use only and NOT for road use. The vehicle should be transported from place to place via a trailer, flatbed or other recovery means.
